Kirkuk Women's Futsal Club wins the Ministry of Youth and Sports Championship Cup

The women's team of the Kirkuk Youth and Sports Directorate won the Ministry of Youth and Sports Championship Cup for the Northern Futsal Region after defeating the Al-Thawra Kirkuk Sports Club team by a clean four in the match that took place between them in the Kirkuk Hall.

A statement from the media office of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Saturday, stated that “Al-Thawra Club came in second place, while the Nineveh Girl team came in third place.”.

The statement quoted the head of the Supreme Committee supervising the tournament, Najm Abdul Mutashar, as saying, “The tournament is held annually under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the teams of the districts and clubs of northern Iraq,” noting that the tournament witnessed a wide turnout by the teams of Iraqi clubs and directorates, in addition to the presence of a large audience that accompanied the tournament from today. From the beginning to the end.”.

 He stated that "the teams were divided between two groups, the first included the Salah al-Din Educational Club and the Mosuli Surf Clubs, Al-Thawra and Domez clubs from Kirkuk, while the second group included the youth and sports teams of Kirkuk, Nineveh Girls, One June and the Kirkuk Union.".
