The President of the Republic visits the Resurrection Cemetery

The President of the Republic, Abdel Latif Gamal Rashid, visited the Resurrection Cemetery in the Hamdaniya district.

A statement from the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “The President of the Republic, accompanied by the Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi, the Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Ivan Faiq Jabro, and the Governor of Nineveh, Najm Abdullah Al-Jubouri, in addition to a number of senior officials and bishops in the governorate, visited the Cemetery of the Resurrection.” In Al-Hamdaniya district.

The statement indicated that "the President of the Republic laid a wreath and read Surah Al-Fatihah on the souls of the victims of the painful accident."
