The Ministry of Health confirmed today, Thursday, that a team from the office of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani inspected the wounded in the Hamdaniya incident in Dohuk and Erbil.
The Ministry stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that, “Based on the direction of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani and the follow-up of the Minister of Health, Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, and headed by Saleh Damad, advisor to the Prime Minister, and accompanied by the Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Khamis Al-Saad, they inspect the wounded and their families in an accident.” Al-Hamdaniya fire in health institutions in Dohuk and Erbil governorates.
She added, "The team visited health institutions in Dohuk and were received by Dr. Majid Shankali, Chairman of the Health and Environment Committee, and Dr. Afrasiab Musa Younis, Director General of Dohuk Health. The tour included a visit to the Specialized Hospital for Burns and Plastic Surgery in Dohuk, the Azadi Center for Surgery and Cardiology, One Global Hospital, and Hevi Children's Teaching Hospital met with the injured patients and their families to learn about their health conditions and needs, and to expedite procedures for securing treatment outside Iraq for the injured whose health condition allows travel, according to the assessment of the treating medical team.
