22 foreign infiltrators were arrested in Wasit

The Border Forces Command announced today, Friday, the arrest of 22 foreign infiltrators in Wasit Governorate.

The command said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “In continuation of efforts to secure the Iraqi border, the third regiment in the twentieth border brigade within the third region border command was able to arrest (22) foreign infiltrators who attempted to cross the border illegally in Wasit Governorate.”.

The command also added, "A proper arrest report was prepared and the necessary legal measures were taken against them."
