4 accused of terrorism arrested in Anbar and Baghdad: DMI

The Directorate of Military Intelligence DMI announced on Monday arresting four terrorism suspects in Anbar and Baghdad.

DMI said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "with pre-emptive operations and a distinguished intelligence effort, and according to accurate intelligence information for the divisions of the tenth and seventeenth divisions of the Military Intelligence Directorate and in cooperation with the security forces holding the ground, tight ambushes were set up in Al-Thawra neighborhood and Street 20, resulting in the arrest of 4 accused of terrorism in accordance with the provisions of Article IV of the Anti-Terrorism Law in the district of Fallujah, Mahmoudiya and Karmat Fallujah."

"These accused belonged to ISIS terrorist gangs," it said, noting that "they were handed over to the requesting parties."
