The French Ambassador praises the Iraqi Media Network Museum

    The French Ambassador to Iraq, Eric Chevalier, today, Thursday, praised the Iraqi Media Network Museum.

    Chevalier told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), during his visit to the museum: “I am very happy with this visit today to the Iraqi Media Network Museum, and this museum is very important and documents culture and journalism.”.

    He added, "Documentation is evidence of the freedom of the press, which has a great importance in Iraqi society. Therefore, I invite all interested people and citizens to visit this museum to learn about what is inside it.".

    For his part, the head of the network, Dr. Nabil Jassim, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The visit of the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Iraqi Media Museum came after he expressed a previous desire to visit the museum, which is considered a first experience in the Middle East, documenting the history, path and development movement of the media.”.

    Adding, "As it is known, the first Arabic-speaking television in the Arab region was Iraqi television, and the Iraqi Media Museum has documented the history of this establishment to this day.".

    The head of the media network continued, "There is interest in this visit from the French embassy and from others as well, to see the Iraqi Media Museum and see the development of the history of the media in Iraq.
