Al-Halboosi Receives The UAE Minister Of State

Media Office of the Parliament Speaker stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency INA that “the Parliament Speaker, Mohammed al-Halboosi, received UAE Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen al-Marar.”
 
The statement said that “The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and partnership between the two brotherly countries in the economic, trade and investment fields, and emphasized work to achieve a comprehensive economic partnership, as well as cooperation between the Council of Representatives and the UAE National Council and continued coordination of positions in international forums.”
 
It added that “Al-Halboosi stressed during the meeting that the Parliament supports the government by consolidating its relations with its brothers and developing cooperation in all fields by enacting the necessary legislation.”
 
The Emirati Minister conveyed according to the statement, the greetings of the leadership in the United Arab Emirates to His Excellency, who in turn conveyed his greetings to them, and al-Marar stressed that his country’s directions are to support and strengthen the partnership with Iraq and to support it in everything that contributes to achieving its development and stability.
