FIIA arrests 4 terrorists in Nineveh

INA-  BAGHDAD

The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency FIIA announced Saturday, the arrest of 4 terrorists in Nineveh.
 
FIIA stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that, “Under the direct supervision of the Undersecretary for Intelligence Affairs and Federal Investigations and based on the directives that include pursuing the remaining terrorist remnants of ISIS, the FIIA’s detachments responsible for combating terrorism in Nineveh received information regarding the presence of four wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article Four of the fight against terrorism in one of the areas of Nineveh Governorate.”
 
It added: “Immediately, an intelligence work team was formed to collect information and conduct the necessary investigations, and with a precise ambush, four wanted defendants were arrested, and through the investigation they frankly admitted their affiliation to ISIS terrorist gangs within the so-called (Al-Yamamah Division, Diwan Al-Jund, Dijlah State, and General Camps), they were receiving sums of money for this, pointing out that “their statements were recorded and they were referred to the relevant authorities in preparation for their appearance before the court to receive their just punishment.”

The statement stated, "FIIA calls on citizens to report all outlaws in all parts of Iraq by calling the toll-free hotline 144."
