PM discusses the situation in Kirkuk with the Speaker of Parliament and the President of PUK

Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani discussed on Sunday,  the situation in Kirkuk with the Speaker of Parliament  , Muhammad Rikan al-Halbousi, and the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan(PUK), Bafel Talabani.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani made two phone calls today to discuss the situation in Kirkuk Governorate, with the Speaker of Parliament  , Muhammad Rikan al-Halbousi, and the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Pafel Talabani."

The statement added, "The two calls witnessed a joint emphasis on the importance of missing the opportunity for all attempts to damage stability and peaceful coexistence that the city of Kirkuk enjoys, and what was established by the efforts of its honorable people of all sects, and the sacrifices of our armed forces of all kinds as they defeat the remnants of terrorism."
