FIIA arrests a terrorist in Nineveh

The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency FIIA announced on Wednesday, the arrest of one of the dangerous terrorists after luring him in Nineveh province, indicating that this terrorist participated in the Speicher massacre and executed a number of citizens.
 
"In implementation of the directives of Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari, which include the pursuit of those involved in the heinous crime of Speicher and the remaining remnants of the terrorist ISIS and under the direct supervision of the Undersecretary for Intelligence and Federal Investigations Affairs, the members of FIIA in Nineveh province were able to arrest the most dangerous criminals who participated in the execution of military students within the Speicher base, in addition to executing a group of citizens and participating in bombings," said a statement by FIIA, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
"The arrest came according to accurate intelligence information received by FIIA in Nineveh province by luring him into Iraq from neighboring countries where he sought refuge after he was wounded in the liberation battles," the statement said.
 
The statement added, "The criminal was impersonating his brother's name by forging one of the identification documents in an attempt to escape from the grip of the FIIA’s members," pointing out, "The statements of the accused were recorded and he explicitly confessed to participating in the execution of military students at Speicher base, in addition to his participation in the execution and kidnapping of citizens and planting explosive devices targeting the federal police forces and confessing to belonging to ISIS gangs."
 
The statement stressed that "the criminal was referred to the concerned authorities to appear before the judiciary to receive his just punishment."
