The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency FIIA announced, on Wednesday, the overthrow of the terrorist who targeted markets and police stations in Al-Khalis district within Diyala province with explosive devices and mortar bombs in 2007.
A statement by FIIA received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that " based on the directives of the minister of Interior to follow up the files of terrorists who participated in terrorist operations targeting citizens and security agencies, FIIA found the most dangerous terrorists who participated in criminal operations targeting the markets of Al-Khalis and its police stations through the use of explosive devices and mortar bombs in 2007 and by a well-controlled intelligence operation, he was arrested.
The statement added that"the statements of the accused were recorded and he openly admitted to committing these criminal acts and was referred to the judiciary to receive his fair punishment.
FIIA, according to the statement, called on "citizens to report and provide any information related to the Outlaws by calling the toll-free hot number 144".
