FIIA arrests three terrorists in Anbar

The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency FIIA in Anbar announced on Wednesday arrestig three wanted persons in accordance with the provisions of Article IV of the anti-terrorism law.
 
A statement by FIIA, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that " in accordance with the directives of the minister of Interior Abdul Amir al-Shammari, and according to intelligence information, the detachments of the FIIA specialized in combating terrorism were able to arrest three wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article IV of the anti-terrorism law.
 
"The arrest process was carried out through a tight ambush that included luring the wanted and then arresting them,” it added.
 
It pointed out that “the defendants confessed to belonging to Daesh terrorist gangs, and were referred to the competent investigative authorities to get their fair punishment".
 
FIIA called on citizens to “the need to report on outlaws throughout Iraq by calling the toll-free hot number 144".
