FIIA arrests three terrorists in Diyala

The Federal Investigation and Intelligence Agency-FIIA announced on Saturday, the arrest of three terrorists in Diyala province.
 
FIIA said in a statement , received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “its forces continue the security operations to pursue the terrorists members, by carrying out preemptive operations, as these Ops resulted in the arrest of three wanted terrorists in accordance with the provisions of Article (4 Anti- Terrorism Law) for their affiliation with ISIS terrorist gangs in Diyala.”
 
FIIA continued, "the aforementioned arrestees have been active within those criminal gangs by providing logistical support of foodstuffs, clothes and fuel, providing information about the movements of the security forces, setting up IEDs on the orchards road in the village of Zaghniyeh, and detonating a booby-trapped vehicle in the same area, in addition to being involved in the assassination of two residents of Baquba region," noting that "their statements were recorded, and the necessary legal measures were taken against them."
