Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf announced the release of 3 Iraqis kidnapped in Iran.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has followed up through its embassy in Tehran and its consulate in Ahwaz during the past days, and in coordination with the relevant authorities in Iran, the issue of the three kidnapped Iraqis," said Al-Sahhaf in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA, noting "The efforts and follow-ups culminated in their release and handing them over to their relatives are Muhammed Bashar Muhammed, Musa Kadhim Musa, and Muntather Sattar Kadhim.”
He added, "The ministry thanks the efforts and follow-up of the relevant security services in Iraq."
