Interior Minister discusses with the Jordanian prime minister the fight against drugs and securing the common border

Interior minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari discussed with Jordanian prime minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh, on Thursday, the fight against drugs and securing the common border.

A statement by the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that " Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari, met on the sidelines of his visit to the Hashemite Jordanian kingdom , Jordanian prime minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh," indicating that "the minister conveyed at the beginning of the meeting, greetings of Prime Minister Mohammed Shi'a al-Sudani and the Iraqi government to the brotherly Jordan, its King, Government and people.

"During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics of common interest and discussed ways to activate bilateral agreements between the two brotherly countries, especially at the security level, in order to enhance security and stability, including the fight against drugs, securing common borders and cross-border crimes," it added.
