FIIA captures five terrorists who belonged to the so-called Nineveh Province

    Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency (FIIA) announced on Monday, the elimination of five terrorists who belonged to the so-called Nineveh Province.

    The agency said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the detachments of the intelligence agency specialized in combating terrorism in Nineveh Governorate, carried out a qualitative operation that included pursuing the remaining ISIS remnants within Nineveh Governorate, based on intelligence information provided by citizens."
    The statement added, "The intelligence detachments were able to arrest 5 wanted terrorists, and by checking their data, we obtained documents indicating that they belong to the so-called Nineveh Province, and they work within (Al-Bilawi Division, Al-Furqan Division, Khaled Ibn Al-Walid, Al-Nafitia, the Nineveh Ore Center, and the Soldier's Office."

    It continued, "Through investigation with the defendants, they openly admitted that they belonged to these terrorist groups, and they were receiving money for their affiliation," explaining that "their statements were written down and referred to the concerned authorities to receive their just punishment."
