The District Commissioner of Al-Rutba district in Anbar, Imad Mishaal Al-Dulaimi, announced on Monday, the completion of the electrical connection work with Jordan, while setting an appointment for supplying the district with energy.
Al-Dulaimi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Iraqi side is technically ready to receive the amount of electrical energy supplied from Jordan, after installing all the 132 stations and the 33 station, and wiring the line completely to the secondary Rutba station," noting that "the line is technically ready and awaiting the implementation of agreements with the Jordanian side.
Al-Dulaimi added, "The supply of electricity from the Jordanian side to the Rutba district will be at the end of this month," pointing out that "this will end the suffering of complete interruption that lasted for several years in the district."
