The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Sayyid Amar al-Hakim, condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the shrine of Sayyid Ahmed bin Imam Musa bin Jaafar (peace be upon them) in the Iranian city of Shiraz.
Al-Hakim said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "We denounce and condemn the criminal act carried out by a terrorist group that targeted the shrine of Sayyid Ahmed bin Imam Musa bin Jaafar (peace be upon them) in the Iranian city of Shiraz, which led to the death and injury of a number of pilgrims."
He added: “As we extend our sincere condolences and sympathy to the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, the Iranian Muslim people, the Iranian government, and the families of the martyrs and the wounded, We ask God Almighty to have mercy on the martyrs, dwells them in his wide paradise, and inspire their families with patience and solace, and heal the wounded. We renew our call to the international community to work together to dry up the sources of terrorism and limit its destructive effects on the security and stability of peoples.
