Iraqi Billiards and snooker teams participate in the Taiwan International Championship

Our national billiards and snooker team will participate at the end of this month in the Taiwan International Championship, with the wide participation of world champions and the Asian continent in the game, with the aim of raising Iraq's ranking at the international level.

The head of the Billiards and Snooker Federation, Shams El-Din Abdel-Al, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The players (Amir Ali and Musab Habib) will participate in the Taiwan Championship, which is scheduled to be held on the twenty-seventh of this month, as all related administrative matters have been completed before the delegation's departure.".

He added, "There is another expected participation of our national team in the Austrian Championship on the sixteenth of next September, which will be for the players (Amir Ali and Muhannad Jassim Muhammad), according to the remaining external merits curriculum for the current year 2023.".

 "the current period witnessed a clear development in the international classification of the players of our national teams, especially after the positive results achieved in the Asian and Arab participations nearby, the latest of which was winning the Arab Championship title that took place in Saudi Arabia with the participation of (14) teams."
