The Federal Investigation and Intelligence Agency- FIIA at the Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 6 wanted terrorists in Nineveh.
"Following the directives of the Minister of Interior, Abd Al-Amir Al-Shammari, to pursue the remnants of the cowardly ISIS gangs, the detachments of FIIA in Nineveh Governorate were able to arrest 6 wanted terrorists in accordance with the provisions of Article Four of the Anti-Terrorism Law," stated FIIA in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
"The terrorists were working within ISIS gangs and belonged to the so-called (Diwan al-Jund, Camp Abi Jaafar al-Ansari, Askar Qata' Omar al-Farooq, Mu'ta Division, al-Furqan Division, and Mosul Sharia Court)," the statement added.
"The process of arresting the wanted persons was carried out according to accurate intelligence information provided by the citizens,”
The statement continued, " the data documents indicated their belonging to the terrorist gangs of Daesh, where the statements of the accused were recorded and they explicitly confessed their affiliation to the criminal groups, and they will be referred to the competent authorities to receive their just punishment."
