The head of the Iraqi Media Network, Dr. Nabil Jassim, discussed today, Saturday, the President of the Iraqi Football Association, Captain Adnan Darjal, at the Federation's headquarters in Baghdad, the issue of broadcasting rights for the Professional and Premier League.
The two sides discussed "ways to support various football activities in the country, the issue of broadcasting rights for the Professional League and the Premier League, and endeavor to transfer all matches via network platforms with the latest technology, to serve the sports audience.".
The head of the Iraqi Media Network, Dr. Nabil Jassim, affirmed "the readiness of the sports channel, in addition to the various institutions of the media network, to support all local sports activities, especially football activities, due to their importance to the Iraqi public.".
For his part, Captain Darjal reviewed the federation's vision of establishing a professional league in cooperation with the Spanish "La Liga" association, and indicated the federation's keenness to achieve an exceptional football season.
The two sides agreed to enhance media cooperation in the next stage, and exchange views to come up with a comprehensive vision to support sports activity.
