New security operation launched in Nineveh: PMF

    A force from Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces-PMF launched on Saturday, a major security operation in the province.
     
    PMF said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the operation was carried out by the 44th, 25th, 21st, 60th, 58th, and 33rd brigades, in addition to the participation of a force from the Army and the Nineveh Emergency Regiment”.


    "The operation aims to eliminate the terrorist remnants of ISIS and fully secure the areas south of Mosul," the statement added.
