Zidan, Industry Minister Stress the need to hold those involved in financial and administrative corruption cases accountable

The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zidan, and the Ville Varjola, the European Union Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq discussed on  Tuesday, a mechanism for completing judicial and legal aid programs.

A statement by the Supreme Judicial Council, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, "The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zidan, received Ville Varjola, the European Union Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq on the occasion of the end of his duties."

The statement added, "During the meeting, they discussed the mechanism for completing the judicial and legal aid programs provided by the mission to the competent Iraqi authorities."
