More than 200 processions participate in the revival of Ashura ceremonies

The Department of Hussainiya Rituals, Processions and Bodies in Iraq and the Islamic World of the Holy Shrines of the Husayni and Abbasid Shrines announced the participation of more than (200) funeral processions in reviving the ceremonies of the first ten days of the holy month of Muharram.

 The head of the department, Aqil al-Yasiri, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The ritual department has started, since the tenth of the last month of Dhu al-Hijjah, issuing legal approvals for Hussaini and service processions, parties, bodies, items, and consolation of the ginger, so that they can participate in the revival of Ashura ceremonies in the first ten of the holy month of Muharram." 1445 AH.
