Interior Minister orders to fully cooperate with all citizens and the owners of Hosseini processions

The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, stressed on Friday, the need to provide the appropriate atmospheres for all pilgrims.

A statement by the Ministry of Interior, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, "The Minister of Interior, Abd al-Amir al-Shammari, chaired today a meeting at the headquarters of the Karbala Operations Command, to discuss the progress of the security and service plan to secure the pilgrimage of the tenth of Muharram al-Haram, in the presence of the Governor of Karbala, Nassif Jassim al-Khattabi, and the First Lieutenant General. Qais Al-Muhammadawi, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, and a number of commanders and officers”.

The Minister of Interior was briefed on the smooth movement of pilgrims within the checkpoints, and the inspection mechanism, ordering to simplify of procedures, no road cuts, and full cooperation with all citizens and the owners of Hosseini processions.
