Al-Halbousi and Plasschaert discuss elections

Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi discussed today, Wednesday, election issues with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert.
 
 
The media office of the Speaker of Parliament stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Halbousi received Plasschaert today, and during the meeting, the latest developments in the political situation in the country were discussed, and a number of issues, including those related to the provincial council elections, the Kurdistan Regional Parliament elections, and the work of the election Commission."
