PM Chairs Meeting to Follow Up on Ministry of Oil's Strategic Projects

The media office of the prime minister said in a statement received by Iraqi News Agency (INA), Today, Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani chaired a meeting to review the progress of the strategic projects of the Ministry of Oil. The Minister of Oil and senior staff were present during the discussion.
 
During the meeting, they discussed the progress of licensing rounds, practical steps in gas and energy projects, efforts to attract investments in these economic sectors, and creating a favorable investment environment in Iraq. Additionally, ways to enhance cooperation with major international companies and foster development in the oil sector were also reviewed.
 
The Prime Minister emphasized the significance of these projects as the backbone of the national economy and highlighted the need to enhance the export system. He stressed the importance of holding regular meetings to closely monitor the projects' progress, emphasizing that the government will take necessary actions in the Council of Ministers to facilitate the completion of these crucial initiatives.
