PM visits Joint Operations Headquarters

INA- Baghdad The Prime Minister and Armed Forces Commander in Chief Adel Abdul Mahdi visited today the Joint Operations Command Headquarters. The Prime Minister’s media office stated that PM held a meeting with the security and military commanders, and listened to ample explanation for the security plans concerning the Imam Husain’s Arba’ein holy visit, besides the security conditions and securing the Iraqi – Syrian borders. PM confirmed that heroic actions by the armed forces in their war against “Daesh” criminal gangs represent huge lessons and approaches that should be taught in the military academies, the statement showed. Mahdi expressed his honor to the achievements of the security forces and their triumphs, affirming on the importance of continuing the efforts to trace the terrorist cells, as well as keeping alert and cautious to the enemy’s movements, the statement concluded.
