President Rashid on the Day of Victory: it is important to recall lessons that emphasize the importance of working together and the value of national unity

President of the Republic Abdullatif Jamal Rashid affirmed on Monday, Victory Day is a remembrance of expressive lessons on unity.
 
The media office of the Presidency of the Republic stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "On this anniversary, we celebrate the heroes, the brave who sacrificed their blood for the liberation of dear Mosul, so they achieved victory and returned Mosul."
 
The statement added, "On this occasion, we proudly recall the great feats of the martyrs of our armed forces in various formations, from our army, the counter-terrorism service, our federal police, the popular Mobilization forces, and the Peshmerga," stressing, "We recall with pride and appreciation the great role played by the supreme religious authority through the fatwa jihad."
 
We celebrate the victory while remembering our heroes' bravery and heroic deeds, and the martyrs, where the people and their families are proud of them.
 
We pray for mercy and eternity for our righteous martyrs.
 
It is truly an honor for our brave soldiers and officers, as well as our commanders, those who accomplish such remarkable feats and heroic deeds.
 
The best we can do for all of them while enjoying security and stability is to continue to build a democratic state that better serves its citizens and is difficult for enemies to undermine.
