PM directs the development of joint plans between the Military Industrialization Authority and the security ministries to deal with military needs

    Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, directed today, Sunday, the development of joint plans between the Military Industrialization Authority and the security ministries, dealing with the military needs of weapons and materiel.
     
     
    The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool Abdullah, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Today, Al-Sudani chaired the first meeting of the Supreme Committee for Armament, and during the meeting, a discussion took place on drawing up the general policy for arming the armed forces in a way that rises to the challenges facing the country, and discussing the need for each security and military formation of weapons and equipment, as well as discussing the maximum benefit from the capabilities of the Military Industrialization Authority.
    Rasool added, "The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces directed the development of joint plans between the Military Industrialization Authority and the security ministries, dealing with military needs of arms and materiel, and stressed the importance of the Military Industrialization Authority developing all security ministries with a full vision of ministries capabilities, and what they can provide."
     
      "The meeting also witnessed the discussion of establishing new camps for the various security formations, and in this regard, Prime Minister  directed the formation of a joint committee that includes ministries and concerned authorities to find lands outside the cities to establish these camps."
