The coordination framework calls for addressing the US side to release the dues for the import of Iranian gas

The coordination framework, on Sunday, called on the government to address the American side to release the dues for the import of Iranian gas.
 
The framework said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "the country is witnessing a crisis that has become burdening the Iraqi citizen due to the lack of equipment in electricity hours under difficult climatic conditions and high temperatures".
 
"After following up, investigating and clarifying the reasons, we call on the Iraqi government and through the Ministry of foreign affairs to contact the American side and get it to immediately release the financial dues resulting from the import of Iranian gas without delay or procrastination," it added, stressing "not to use this file politically to avoid its negative repercussions on the Iraqi citizen.
