Advisor to the prime minister: Al-Sudani adopts strict standards of integrity as basis for selecting security leaders

    The political adviser to the Prime Minister Fadi al-Shammari confirmed on Sunday that the Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani adopts strict standards of integrity as the basis for choosing security leaders.
     
    Al-Shammari said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency(INA), that "the economy and development are closely linked to security stability and providing the elements of growth, economic development and urban renaissance in the country," pointing out that "the vision of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani is to perpetuate the wheel of reconstruction in the liberated provinces by ending the manifestations of corruption that disrupt reconstruction projects and work on the establishment of infrastructure and the implementation of strategic projects with a direct impact on the citizen.
     
    He added that " Al-Sudani adopt strict standards in integrity, accumulated experience and independence from political work as a basis in the selection of security leaders in the joints of the security ministries, the national security and intelligence services and security leaders in the Iraqi provinces".
     
     
    "Imposing security and combating terrorism requires a comprehensive and multidimensional strategy, which includes a thorough analysis of security threats, strengthening close cooperation between various security agencies, enhancing intelligence and surveillance capabilities in the provinces,” he explained.
     
    Al-Shammari stressed that “the appointment of Major General Mohammed Rashid Saleh as commander of the Anbar police and Brigadier General Zaher Mahmoud Yassin al-Alwani as director of intelligence and counterterrorism in the province was based on qualifications and efficiency, career progression, and the possibility of dealing with the various security challenges facing Anbar province and in integration with the sustainable security system in all Iraqi provinces.
