Al-Sudani Leads a Meeting to Reinstate Terminated Members in the Military and other Security Agencies

    The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, chaired a meeting with security and military commanders. The focus was on discussing the reinstatement of approximately 100,000 terminated contracts across military and security agencies, and the Popular Mobilization Commission.

    PM directed the initiation of the process to receive individuals whose contracts have been terminated in military and security institutions and agencies. Each party will determine specific timetables and procedures, ensuring accuracy, verification, and the establishment of special protocols for receiving them. Their requests to return to service will be thoroughly processed and addressed.

    During the meeting, it was decided that the period from July 15 to July 24 will be designated for registering the returning individuals in respective ministries and institutions.


    The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces emphasized the significance of streamlined process and strict adherence to instructions regarding the return to service. He highlighted the need to organize work effectively, thoroughly examine submitted applications in accordance with military laws and instructions, and the use of human resources based on operational requirements.
