Al-sudani receives the Iran Deputy Foreign Minister and his accompanying delegation

Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani affirmed on Wednesday, that Iraq commitment to its pivotal role.

The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani received Iran Deputy Foreign Minister, Ali Bagheri, and his accompanying delegation."

The statement added, "During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and ways to develop  in a way that serves the interests of the two countries in all files, as well as the importance of investing in an atmosphere of political stability and rapprochement in the region, in order to achieve integration between their peoples in the political and economic fields."

The Prime Minister reiterated Iraq's commitment to its pivotal role as a platform for generating effective solutions and ideas that unite regional countries and address shared economic challenges.
