Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and British deputy national security adviser Sarah McIntosh discussed on Wednesday strengthening bilateral cooperation between both countries.
A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that "deputy prime minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, met today with the British deputy national security adviser and adviser to the British Prime Minister Sarah McIntosh, at the headquarters of the British Foreign Ministry in London.
"The two sides held an expanded meeting on the developments of the regional situation, organized crime and how to strengthen bilateral cooperation between both countries,” it added.
"The meeting also addressed a range of issues of common interest," the statement added, pointing out that the meeting was attended by the ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in London, Mohammed Jaafar al-Sadr.
