The Foreign Minister discuss with his British counterpart the role of Iraq in the framework of promoting regional stability

    Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein discussed with his British counterpart James Cleverly the role of Iraq in the framework of promoting regional stability and bringing points of view closer.
     
     
    A statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein met today, Tuesday, with the British Minister of Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development, James Cleverly, at the headquarters of the British Foreign Ministry in London, and the minister spoke about Iraq's role in the framework of strengthening Regional stability and convergence of views between the countries of the region, especially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Iraq's readiness to continue efforts to ease tension in the region.
      "The meeting also included a discussion of ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries in light of security stability, approval of the general budget, and the government's determination to implement that into service programs and reconstruction. Mr. Fuad Hussein called for intensifying cooperation in the fields of education, health, business sectors, industries, agriculture, and others." According to the statement.
    For his part, Minister Cleverly welcomed the Iraqi government's efforts in the field of economic reform, stressing the Kingdom's readiness to provide support to Iraq in all areas it needs.
