The Iraqi pilgrimage mission won first place Prize for the best pilgrimage mission representing its country.
A statement by the Hajj mission, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the Iraqi Hajj mission wins the first place Prize for the best Hajj mission representing its country in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this season.".
He added, "The Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq Muhammad Al-Rabiah, presented the head of the Iraqi Hajj mission, Sami Al-Masoudi, with the grand prize as the best mission with the highest percentage in the standards and specifications offered," noting that "Iraq's obtaining the award came according to numbers and standards approved by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for all missions."
