Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari stressed on Tuesday the need to intensify work to serve citizens in conjunction with Eid al-Adha.
Al-Shammari said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "in these blessed days in which the voices pray for magnification and forgiveness around the Sacred House of Allah and with the advent of Eid al-Adha, "May Allah return it to the Islamic nation in general and the Iraqi people with goodness and blessings, I extend my sincere congratulations and blessings to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, to our family and our Iraqi people, and to all the members of our security services of various kinds. At the same time, we extend congratulations and on this Eid, to our righteous martyrs and brave wounded.”
He added that "Al-Adha calls on us to intensify work to serve citizens in various fields and we are confident that this authentic people will stand by the security services in performing the duties and tasks they perform for the permanence of security in this country."
