SMC: 3 ISIS members were killed in Kirkuk

The Security Media Cell announced today, Sunday, the killing of 3 ISIS terrorist gang members in Kirkuk.
 
 
The cell said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that, "according to the directives of the Joint Operations Command to intensify the accurate intelligence effort and collect information on the presence of terrorist elements, the targeting cell of the Joint Operations Command and the Falcons Cell in the Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Interior were able to monitor 3 Members of ISIS terrorist gangs in the Turklan area of Kirkuk Governorate.
According to the statement "Following this information, a force from the valiant Iraqi Army's Eighth Division, within the Kirkuk Operations Command, went to the place and clashed with these elements and managed to surround and kill them and detonate the explosive belts they were wearing, which led to the death of a soldier and the wounding of an officer, and the force carrying out the duty was seized 3 rifles”.
Security Media added "With these results, our security forces will have killed 5 terrorists within the Kirkuk operations sector, and this will be a revenge to the righteous martyrs," indicating that "the security work that is based on accurate intelligence information will have positive results, and that our security units are the ones who take the initiative and choose the appropriate time to resolve Security Operations.
