A security delegation headed by the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations arrives in Basra: SMC

A security delegation headed by Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Lt. Gen. Qais al-Muhammadawi arrived on Sunday in Basra province.
 
"Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Lt. Gen. Qais al-Muhammadawi arrived in Basra province at the head of a security delegation that included the assistant chief of staff for operations, the commander of the ground forces and a number of officers and staff bodies," said a statement by the Security Media Cell received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
The statement added that "this came to review the security situation and evaluate the procedures of formations, units and security services in enhancing security and stability."
