Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lt. Gen Qais Al-Muhammadawi, praised on Sunday, the great effort made by the Military Industrialization Authority to encourage military industries.
A statement of the Joint Operations Command, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lt. Gen Qais Al-Muhammadawi, received the head of the Military Industrialization Authority, Mustafa Ati Hassan," and Al-Muhammadawi praised "the great effort made by the authority in its national project to encourage military industry attracting and activating Iraqi cadres specialized in this field."
Al-Muhammadawi stressed, "The need for all ministries and institutions to stand with this national project, and to provide facilities, support and support in accordance with the controls, requirements and needs of security institutions to confront challenges."
The statement added, "They discussed the current production lines and the future vision of weapons, ammunition and equipment that can be produced in the near future, to encourage national industries and reduce the large expenditures, obligations and restrictions resulting from foreign contracts."
