The Joint Operations Command JOC announced on Sunday, the killing of a terrorist group in Diyala.
"Based on intelligence information by the Directorate of Military Intelligence and planning and supervision by the targeting cell of the Joint Operations Command, the Iraqi Army Aviation carried out a successful air strike against a terrorist group in the Sundij area within the Diyala operations area," JOC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"The strike resulted in the death of members of the terrorist group and the destruction of their dens," JOC said, noting that "the security forces and our brave hawks are on the lookout for the remnants of ISIS terrorism."
