Iraq and KSA discuss cooperation in the field of aviation security

    The Civil Aviation Authority discussed with its Saudi counterpart, today, Friday, cooperation in the field of aviation security.

    A statement by the Aviation Authority received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the Iraqi delegation to the Civil Aviation Authority, headed by Captain Nael Saad Abdul Hadi, met with the President of the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation, Abdul Aziz Al-Duailej, on the sidelines of the 41st General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) held In Canada, and in the presence of the Iraqi Consul General in Montreal, Dr. Agadir Hassan Al-Naqib. 

    The statement explained that "the meeting discussed several issues, including the return of the work of Saudi carriers at Iraqi airports, in addition to cooperation in the field of aviation security and in the field of training and rehabilitation, with the aim of increasing coordination and mutual support in technical matters between the two countries." .

    The head of the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority praised "the great role Iraq plays in the work of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, which reflected positively on the work of the Arab group in ICAO."
