Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday, the number of Iraqis who were evacuated from Sudan.
"288 people have been evacuated from the Iraqi community in Sudan, including 16 Syrian citizens," said the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He added, "We are continuing to document the appeals of the rest of our community in Sudan. We have so far counted 75 new appeals requesting evacuation."
