The consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers began on Monday, in the Jordanian capital, Amman, to reach a political solution to end the Syrian crisis, with the participation of Iraq.
The reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated, "The work of the Amman consultative meeting, which is being hosted by Jordan, began today with the participation of the foreign ministers of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Iraq and the Arab Republic of Egypt, along with the foreign minister of the Syrian Arab Republic."
He added, "The meeting comes as a continuation of the consultative meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Jordan, Iraq and Egypt, which was hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah on April 14, and to build on the contacts that these countries made with the Syrian government and in the context of its proposals, and the Jordanian initiative to reach a solution politics of the Syrian crisis."
