Parliament begins discussing the draft budget law

The House of Representatives began reading the report and discussing the draft general budget law.
 
 
The media department of the House of Representatives stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the House of Representatives began reading the report and discussing the draft federal budget law for the Republic of Iraq for the fiscal years (2023, 2024, 2025)."
A short while ago, the House of Representatives held its regular session, headed by Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi.
The media department of the House of Representatives stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi opens the work of Session No. (20), the fifth electoral session for the second legislative year, the first legislative term."
According to the statement, "The number of attendees was 198 deputies."
