National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Araji confirmed today, Saturday, that the security services are vigilant and constantly prepared to pursue anyone who endangers the security of Iraq and Iraqis.
Al-Araji said in a post on the "X" platform - followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We stressed during our participation in the activities of the first annual forum of the Christian, Yazidi and Mandaean Endowments Diwan, that the security services are constantly vigilant and ready to pursue anyone who endangers the security of Iraq and Iraqis.".
He added, "The circumstances in the country are different today than before, and there is no incubator in our homeland for any extremist," indicating that "our country is strong with its united and cohesive people.".
He pointed out that "the security forces have taken all precautions to secure the borders, and we hope that the Syrian government will impose its control over all its territories, as this will benefit Iraq and the region and bring stability."
