Al-Sahhaf announces the signing of an agreement with Russia to exempt from visa

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf announced on Sunday, the signing of an agreement with Russia to exempt holders of diplomatic, service and special passports from entry visas.

Al-Sahaf told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), " at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a draft agreement was signed Today Sunday, to exempt holders of diplomatic, service and special passports from entry visas between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the Russian Federation."

He added, "The Undersecretary of the Ministry for Administrative and Technical Affairs, Abd al-Rahman al-Husseini, signed the agreement on the Iraqi side, while it was signed on the Russian side by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iraq, Elbrus Kutrashev , noting that "this agreement comes within the vision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to enhance the status of the Iraqi passport within the Ministerial Curriculum of the Iraqi Government.."
