PM Al-Sudani visits a retirement home, sharing an iftar meal

    INA – BAGHDAD

    Prime Minister Muhammed S. Al-Sudani affirmed the government's keenness to take care of the elderly segment.

    Al-Sudani visited the retirement home in Baghdad, and the residents of the home shared an iftar meal during the blessed month of Ramadan, according to a statement by the media office of the Prime Minister received by the Iraqi News Agency – INA.

    He extended his blessings to the inmates of the house, both male and female, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, pointing to "his keenness to be constantly present with them and meet their needs, based on the legal and moral duty towards them."

    He praised "the level of service provided by the administration supervising the home and its workers, and the provision of the requirements of all inmates," stressing "the government's keenness, within its governmental program, to pay attention to these homes and care for the elderly segment that provided and served the community, as the government duty is to meet all their needs."
