The Russian Kremlin commented, today, Friday, on the decision of the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin, while the director of the Ukrainian President's Office saw that this note is "just the beginning."
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, "The ICC's decision is provocative and unacceptable."
He added, "Russia does not recognize the court and its decisions have no legal value.".
On the other hand, the director of the office of the Ukrainian President, Kyrilo Tymoshenko, stated that "the International Criminal Court's warrant for Putin's arrest is just the beginning.".
Today, Friday, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The court said the arrest warrant came in connection with accusations against Putin of war crimes in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that "for Moscow, the decisions of the International Criminal Court have no meaning, including from a legal point of view."
